That Girl..

We were travelling back to Delhi from Kolkata. Back from our site visit which was extremely informative and brilliant and fun... The train was dead slow.. We had all the time in the world.. So I sketched and read a book and did nothing and slept.

Last December...

Last december.. I was working for this newsletter for a landscape based magazine. Although, my newsletter design didnt work out, I liked going all the way to Janakpuri from Gurgaon. I love travelling in winters. I did a sketch of this guy travelling with me in the metro. He was carrying some sort of medical reports. Rough sketch. I should totally sketch more.

I hope I sketch more this year round, which is not really happening.

Khirki Masjid

Went to Khirki Masjid yesterday with a few classmates and juniors. We are planning to send an entry for a competition which deals with the adaptive reuse of Khirki Masjid which has been tucked away in the corner of the city and has been ignored by us all, especially when just opposite to it, you have Select City Walk standing tall showing of the fake glass facade..

Its sad to see such monuments rotting dead in the city. The ASI is doing nothing. Bureaucracy at its best.

Anyway, i hope we are able to send the entry in a weeks time.
